If Google finds more page not found errors in your website, Google may decrease your PR. Keep 301 redirects to not found pages, or include the links in robots.txt file which you don't want to crawled by Google.

optimize your website again, check for any broken links and then start website promotion with good PR, directory submission, forums posting etc. u will definitely gain good PR. Also to maintain the PR it is important to promote your website on a regular basis and continuously update it with the new optimization techniques....

Hello,

i think your page rank decreases because of less traffic and less clicking by the user.so i think you have to do advertisement through seo again so that you will get your page rank back.

Yes, you have to maintain your PR by doing SEO . Otherwise, if it decreased , you will have to really work hard .
