As you know most forums have sections and discussion threads that talk about a certain topics. Every forums has signature column where it allows 2/3 hyperlinks. you can use keywords, services you offer in the hyperlinks which brings you backlinks for your website. It has few benefits like backlink building, brand building, increases traffic etc. You can have your logo in your profile picture which increase your branding.

Submit articles.
Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

Hello,

yes definitely but you have to do it  in large quantity and also the quality work. because if you do quality work then you can promote your website by getting it on the top of the Google and any other search engine.   and use good keywords and Google seems to give weight to the title of your page. By title, I mean the text that is sandwiched between the HTML <TITLE> tags in the <HEAD> section of your web page. If you use a Web editor that automatically inserts a title like "New Page", remember to change it to some meaningful text with your keywords inside to reap the benefit of this feature.

good luck!!
